Ingredients

  • 400g cooked chickpeas
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 green chili, minced
  • 3 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • 1 tbsp mint chutney
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • handful sev for garnish

Instructions

    Rinse and drain the cooked chickpeas and place them in a large mixing bowl.

    Add the diced onion, tomatoes, cucumber, and minced green chili to the bowl.

    Drizzle the tamarind chutney and mint chutney over the mixture.

    Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and salt, then add lemon juice.

    Toss everything together gently until well combined.

    Transfer to serving bowls, garnish with fresh coriander and sev, and serve immediately.
