Ingredients
- 800g boneless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp tikka masala spice paste
- 2 large onions, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions

1Marinate chicken chunks in yogurt mixed with 1 tbsp tikka paste for at least 30 minutes.

2Heat ghee in a large pan and sear the marinated chicken until lightly browned, then set aside.

3In the same pan, add cumin seeds and let them crackle for 30 seconds.

4Add diced onions and sauté until golden, about 5-7 minutes.

5Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

6Add remaining tikka paste and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

7Pour in canned tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes, breaking them down.

8Return chicken to the pan and add green chilies.

9Simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

10Stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens.

11Season with salt and pepper, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot.
