Bulgogi Beef Rice Bowl

Ingredients

  • 800g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

    In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, ginger, and green onions.

    Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

    Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until very hot.

    Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently until browned. Remove and set aside.

    In the same skillet, add onion, carrots, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

    Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes.

    Divide cooked rice into serving bowls and top with the bulgogi beef and vegetables.

    Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately while hot.
