Ingredients
- 800g beef ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/2 Asian pear, grated
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions

1Combine grated pear, minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, mirin, and water in a large bowl.

2Add thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix thoroughly to coat all pieces.

3Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 4 hours.

4Heat a large skillet or grill over high heat until very hot.

5Cook marinated beef in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through.

6Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

7Serve immediately with steamed rice, lettuce leaves, and kimchi on the side.
