Gyeran-ppang (Korean Egg Bread)

Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 60g sugar
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease 4 oval or rectangular baking molds.

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add milk and melted butter, whisking until smooth.

    Pour batter into molds, filling about 2/3 full. Crack one whole egg into the center of each.

    Sprinkle chopped chives over the top. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and eggs are set.

    Let cool slightly before serving warm.
