Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken pieces, bone-in
- 3 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 green onions, cut into segments
- 3 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 fresh spring zucchini, sliced
Instructions

1Mix gochugaru, soy sauce, gochujang, garlic, sugar, and sesame oil to make the sauce.

2Place chicken pieces in a large pot and coat with half the sauce. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

3Add potatoes, carrots, and onion to the pot with the chicken.

4Pour in water and remaining sauce, then bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

6Add zucchini and green onions, cook for another 5 minutes.

7Serve hot with steamed rice.
