Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup jasmine rice
  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 300ml water
  • 2 tbsp palm sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 2 tbsp toasted coconut flakes

Instructions

    Rinse jasmine rice until water runs clear, then drain.

    In a medium saucepan, combine rice, coconut milk, and water. Bring to a gentle boil.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until rice is soft and creamy.

    Stir in palm sugar and salt until dissolved.
