Ingredients

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g instant yeast
  • 300ml warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for dough
  • 6 tbsp za'atar
  • 8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt for topping

Instructions

    Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Add warm water and olive oil, knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 220°C. Divide dough into 4 portions and roll each into an oval shape.

    Mix za'atar with olive oil and a pinch of salt to form a paste. Spread generously over each flatbread.

    Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden and crispy. Serve warm.
