Ingredients

  • 1 brioche loaf, sliced
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

    Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

    Add sliced apples, honey, and cinnamon to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes until apples are caramelized and tender, stirring occasionally.

    Toast walnuts in a separate small pan for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, then add to the apples.

    Toast brioche slices in a toaster or under the broiler until golden and crispy.

    Arrange toasted brioche on plates and top generously with the warm apple-walnut mixture.
