Ingredients
- 4 pounds pork shoulder
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 soft hamburger buns
- 2 cups coleslaw
Instructions

1Pat pork shoulder dry and season generously with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper on all sides.

2Place seasoned pork in a slow cooker and add apple cider vinegar around it.

3Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, until pork is extremely tender and shreds easily.

4Remove pork and shred with two forks, discarding any excess fat.

5Return shredded pork to slow cooker, add barbecue sauce and brown sugar, and stir well.

6Cook on low for an additional 15 minutes to heat through and infuse flavors.

7Toast hamburger buns lightly if desired.

8Serve generous portions of pulled pork on buns, topped with coleslaw.
