Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.75 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1.5 cups fresh blueberries
  • to taste maple syrup

Instructions

    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    In another bowl, beat eggs and mix with milk and melted butter.

    Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined; some lumps are okay.

    Gently fold in fresh blueberries.

    Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly butter it.

    Pour batter into round portions and cook until bubbles form on top, about 2-3 minutes.

    Flip carefully and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

    Serve hot with maple syrup and extra butter.
