Ingredients
- 6 strips bacon
- 4 slices bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella
- 2 medium ripe tomatoes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 pinch sea salt and pepper
Instructions

1Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

2Toast bread slices until golden and crispy on the outside but still soft inside.

3Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

4Layer mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil on the bottom bread slice.

5Top with cooked bacon strips and drizzle with balsamic glaze.

6Season with sea salt and pepper, then place second bread slice on top.

7Cut diagonally and serve immediately while warm.
