Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 green chili, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

    Mix boiled chickpeas with cumin powder and salt in a large bowl.

    Add diced tomatoes, cucumber, and green chili to the chickpeas.

    In a small bowl, whisk yogurt with tamarind chutney until well combined.

    Pour the yogurt mixture over the vegetables and chickpeas.

    Sprinkle chaat masala and fresh cilantro on top.

    Toss gently and serve immediately while the salad is fresh and crisp.
