Ingredients
- 250g chicken breast
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 2 liters chicken broth
- 3 green onions
- 2 tbsp crispy fried shallots
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp white pepper
- Fresh cilantro to taste
Instructions

1Bring chicken broth to boil in a large pot and add whole chicken breast.

2Simmer chicken for 15 minutes until cooked through, then remove and shred finely.

3Rinse jasmine rice and add to the broth, stirring occasionally.

4Simmer for 30-35 minutes until rice breaks down and porridge becomes creamy.

5Return shredded chicken to the pot and season with fish sauce and white pepper.

6Ladle into bowls and top with crispy fried shallots, green onions, and cilantro.

7Drizzle with sesame oil before serving hot.
