Ingredients

  • 2 pita breads, cut into strips and toasted
  • 2 cups mixed lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup radishes, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sumac
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Toast the pita bread strips in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes until crispy and golden.

    In a large salad bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radishes, parsley, and mint.

    In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, garlic, salt, and pepper.

    Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to combine.

    Add the crispy pita chips just before serving and toss again to distribute.

    Serve immediately while the pita chips are still crunchy.
