French Brioche French Toast with Spring Berries

Ingredients

  • 4 slices brioche bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150 g mixed spring berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • pinch salt

Instructions

    Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt in a shallow bowl

    Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foaming
  3. 3
    Dip each brioche slice into the egg mixture for 2-3 seconds per side, coating evenly
  4. 4
    Place coated brioche slices in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown
  5. 5
    Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden
  6. 6
    Transfer to serving plates and top with fresh spring berries
  7. 7
    Dust generously with powdered sugar and serve immediately
