French Strawberry Brioche Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 slices brioche bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 250 g fresh strawberries
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

    Slice brioche bread into 2 cm thick slices and set aside.

    In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

    Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foaming.

    Dip each brioche slice into the custard mixture, coating both sides evenly, then place in the hot skillet.

    Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside.

    Transfer to serving plates and top with fresh strawberries and a generous dollop of whipped cream.

    Drizzle with honey and serve immediately while warm.
