French Toast with Summer Berries

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 slices brioche or white bread
  • 30 g butter
  • 200 g mixed fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 15 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

    In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

    Heat butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

    Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly, then place in the hot skillet.

    Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy.

    Transfer to serving plates, top with fresh berries, and dust with powdered sugar.

    Serve immediately while still warm.
