Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 300 ml warm water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons za'atar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for topping)
Instructions

1Mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a large bowl

2Add warm water and 3 tablespoons olive oil, knead until smooth dough forms

3Let dough rest for 10 minutes

4Divide dough into 4 equal portions and shape into balls

5On a floured surface, flatten each ball into a thin oval shape about 6mm thick

6Brush each oval with olive oil and sprinkle generously with za'atar

7Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat

8Cook manakish for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy

9Serve warm, optionally fold in half
