- 2 cups cooked white rice, warm

Instructions

1Divide the warm cooked rice evenly between two bowls.

2In a small bowl, whisk together dashi broth, soy sauce, and mirin until combined.

3Crack one egg into each rice bowl, keeping the yolk intact.

4Pour the warm dashi-soy mixture over the egg and rice, allowing the heat to gently warm the egg white while keeping the yolk runny.

5Gently stir the egg, rice, and sauce together until the yolk coats all the rice grains.

6Garnish with nori strips, sesame seeds, and green onions.
