Ingredients
- 1 large egg (preferably room temperature)
- 200g hot steamed white rice
- 1.5 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 sheet nori seaweed (optional)
- 1 green onion, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

1Cook white rice and transfer to a bowl while still hot.

2Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it lightly with a fork, being careful to keep the yolk intact if preferred.

3Pour the soy sauce over the hot rice.

4Pour the beaten egg over the soy sauce and rice.

5Stir vigorously with a fork or chopsticks until the egg is fully incorporated and creates a creamy coating.

6Top with torn nori seaweed strips and chopped green onion.

7Serve immediately while the rice is still steaming hot.
